What is Mom-Net?

The Oregon Research Institute developed Mom-Net with the help of Head Start mothers. Mom-Net is an evidenced-based program designed to help mothers learn new ways to manage mood, make parenting more enjoyable, and promote child development. The internet-based program includes eight self-guided sessions and mothers are supported by a coach from their Head Start agency. 

Mood Triangle

The online curriculum is based on the idea of the Mood Triangle. The Mood Triangle shows that your actions and thoughts can affect your mood. 

Keeping Track

You’ll be able to keep track of your daily mood and Pleasant activities to begin to see the relation between what you do and how you feel.

Coach Calls

Personal support is an important component that contributes to the effectiveness of Mom-Net. You’ll be assigned a coach who supports you in engaging and learning.
